ELS Response to COD5 'hacks'

There are a number of servers available online that are advertising Power Leveling. The developers of the game, in either an oversight or plain ignorance, left the ability for server admins to change the amount of XP points a player can get for kills. On these servers, it is not uncommon for a player to get to level 65 in one match - and gain maximum prestige in a matter of a few hours.

ELS as a clan has decided to not implement this modified scoring on our servers and our members will not visit servers that do this. We do not condone the use of exploits or cheats to better one's self. If you see our members at a high level or with Prestige, it was done honestly and within the intent of the game. This decision may hurt our traffic on the server, but we only host servers and run them the way we prefer rather than take a 'everyone else is doing it' mentality.

If you like fair and honest gameplay, spread the word to your friends that ELS has the same standards and welcomes all to visit our servers and website.

Back to Normal

Whatever normal may be. Our ISP did some network maintenance on the data center where our server is located. This resulted in some downtime on our website and game servers. Everything should be back to normal today, if anyone is experiencing any issues, just PM me and I will look into it.

Website Back Online

As you can see the website has been migrated to it's new home and not without some issues. There are a few tweaks left to do, but the site is back up to about 98%.
